Hope everyone had a good Easter. We just spent the day around Sioux Falls, ate a traditional Spaghetti easter meal and had burgers for supper. It was actually a very emotional week for both of us. The guy who bought the motorcycle came to pick it up Saturday:( Both of us were quite down all day. There were some tears shed over the whole thing. It is something that we will miss a great deal but hope that another bike is only a few years off in the future.
We also spent some time playing our wii. If you haven't played one yet or don't have one........Play one and go buy yourself one! It is the greatest gaming device ever invented. We have a few games like a surgery game, Cooking Mama, Wii Play, Wii Sports, Poker, Hockey, Guitar Hero, American Idol and Sims. They seem to keep us both busy and you can actually work up a pretty good sweat with some of them.
This week we will also be heading out to Chicago with my band for their band trip. We are both very excited about the trip. My band will be participating in the Heritage Music Festival and we will be seeing most of the normal Chicago attractions along with going to see the musical Wicked! Sometimes for a director a trip can be a bit of a challenge and a headache, well not for me. My students have worked really hard this year and I have never had a better group of kids to work with. Their behavior is always top notch so I know we are going to have a blast on this trip. It will be non stop action from the time we step foot in Chicago until we leave. I couldn't ask for a better group of kids to take on a trip than the ones I have at Lennox.
I guess plans are also in the works for a baby shower in the Cities sometime in June. There will probably be one in Canby and Sioux Falls as well so we will keep everyone posted. Take it easy and as my mother would always say...."Don't do anything I wouldn't do!"

Hello All!!
So we are now 8 and a half weeks pregnant! Still not that real to us yet, but getting there. We have finally purchased our first item for the baby, some University of Oklahoma Socks!!! Of course our baby is going to be a Sooner fan whether they want to be or not:) Chelsea is still dealing with a little nausea, she actually got sick for the first time yesterday so that wasn't good. We have the Lennox High School band trip to Chicago coming up next week so we are excited for that.
We are also wondering who is all checking out our site, or if anybody is actually checking this out. Please do us a favor, if you stop by the site, would you please comment on this post so we know who is checking it out and if it is something we should keep doing or not. Thanks.

Beautiful weather outside

Well today is a great day for weather in South Dakota. We have been busy lately. Last weekend we went to Minneapolis for a little shopping and just to get away for a day. Bob had a concert Tuesday and then the start of Influenza B or so the Dr. said. He is feeling great today. Chelsea was home sick Wednesday too, but is feeling better today as well.
As some of you may or may not know, Bob has decided it would make a lot of sense to sell the motorcycle:( He posted it on Craigslist and within a week it was sold. We figured we wouldn't ride it as much as we would like, Chelsea can't even ride in until after she delivers, and we decided to sell it and get another one in a few years. It just made more sense and unlike normal, Bob used common sense. So today with the weather the way it is, Bob took the bike out for one last time before the guy that bought it comes from Montana to pick it up. We will both miss the bike, but are very excited for the addition to the family.

New Pic of Baby Kosmo

We had another ultra sound this week and were able to see the baby. It was pretty cool for us to see the heartbeat, made this whole thing a little more real for us both. Chels has been feeling pretty good, a little bit of nausea but no real morning sickness. Thank god for that! Guess that about covers it.
